Dear Friend,

Save a kid from illiteracy.  Send a senior to school.  Put a book in every hand, young or old, and make sure they can read it and write one themselves.

Literacy doesn’t just help kids and adults get by, it expands minds, opportunities, and quality of lives.  The Pawprints Literacy Plus Foundation does this — programs tackle today’s challenge of low literacy by bringing love of animals to the picture, providing classes kids and seniors want to attend, in reading, creative writing, speaking and listening, plus self-esteem. Seniors report life enrichment; kids stop hitting animals, and each other. Classes were developed and are supervised by Ina Hillebrandt, former Fortune 500 consultant, bestselling author and editor/packager of senior class’ new bestseller.

Your help is essential to our fund raising efforts, to bring our program to kids and seniors in schools and community centers where funding is sorely needed.

We are in the process of obtaining merchandise, gift certificates, restaurant dinners, hotel accommodations, weekend get-aways, airline travel, sports memorabilia and mementoes of well known people to be auctioned at a festive fund raising event early in November.  We are a 501 (c) (3), a member of SEE, supporting Social and Environmental programs worldwide.  Our tax EIN # 95-4116679. All donations are tax deductible..
